Eyerok is a boss found in Super Mario 64 and
Super Mario 64 DS.

Appearance and Location

Eyerok is an undead pharao stored in a black sarcophagus in the depths of the pyramid of Shifting Sand Land. He controls two large, ochre, stone hands with an eye inside each palm.

Attacks

Eyerok will attempt a number of attacks with his large stone hands. He will use them in an attempt to slap Mario, stomp him when clenching them to fists or waving him off the platform with the back of his hands.

If Mario falls off the platform, he will be swallowed by the sand below and lose a life.

How to deal with Eyerok

Mario can only harm Eyerok, when the eyes on his palms are open. Mario then has to run up to the hand with the opened eye and punch or kick the eye.

This will cause the hand to flinch and the other one to attack Mario. Eyerok's hands can easily be avoided by running in circles or doing jumping flips to the side.

Hitting the eye of a hand three times will make the hand shatter to pieces, similar to breaking a box.

Once both hands are defeated, Eyerok will admit defeat and give Mario a Power Star.
